The following graphs represent the effect of pressure
on the volume of a gas, or Boyle's Law. As the pressure increases,
the volume decreases, and so on. This shows that Boyle's Law is
an inverse variation. For reference, the exact formula for Boyle's
Law is P1 *V1= P2 *V2. The two "P"'s stand for the pressure
upon an object, and the two "V"'s stand for the volume
of the object. Boyle's Law directly related to the concept of
our experiment, for we tested the effect of pressure on a bursting
lung and the point at which it bursts.
