Method:

Mark 1 Glider (heavy weight)

1. Draw a 6"x6" square on Plexiglas

2. Cut out the square with plastic cutter or jig saw

3. Draw a solid diagonal line from one corner to its oppisite corner

4. Draw a dotted line from the other corner to its oppisite

5. Cut along the solid line with the plastic cutter or jig saw

6. Drill the hole for the retrieval string

7. With hot glue gun, glue heavy washer to front corner oppisite from the hole

8. Attach rerieval string to the hole at the back of the glider and tie a secure knot

 

Method:

Mark 1 Glider (light weight)

1. Draw a 6"x6" square on Plexiglas

2. Cut out the square with plastic cutter or jig saw

3. Draw a solid diagonal line from one corner to its oppisite corner

4. Draw a dotted line from the other corner to its oppisite

5. Cut along the solid line with the plastic cutter or jig saw

6. Drill the hole for the retrieval string

7. With hot glue gun, glue light washer to front corner oppisite from the hole

8. Attach rerieval string to the hole at the back of the glider and tie a secure knot

 

Method:

Mark 2 Glider

1. To make fins, cut to triangles out of the Plexiglas for the glider

2. Cut one so it is smaller than the other fin to accommodate the weight

3. Position the fins so that the smaller fin is on the bottom of the Plexiglas with the washer ajacent to it

4. Using the hot glue gun, glue the fins and the washer onto the bottom of the glider

5. Glue the large fin onto the top part of the glider

 

Materials:

1. 18 by 24 inch piece of Plexiglas

2.1/2 inch washers (3)

3. Plastic cutter

4. Fishing line

5. Jig saw

6. Hot glue gun

7. Ruler

8. Meter stick

9. Electric Drill

10. 25 ft. Tape measure

11. Colorful tape (to decorate the gliders and make them easy to see under water)
