Tape measure
Stopwatch
Submarine
Handpump
Pencil
Waterproof paper
 
 
 
METHOD:
Speed Test:
mark off 15 feet along the pool side.
One person pumps to keep the sub surfaced and times, and the other controls it.
Record data with pencil and paper.
Repeat twice more.
 
Submerge 5 feet:
one person marks of five feet of depth in the pool, and also times.
when ready, the person pumping stops, and the timer starts to time simultaneously.
repeat twice.
 
Surfacing 5 feet:
start underwater at the five foot mark.
person on top pumps when told to, and person underwater pumps.
stop time when sub reaches the surface.
repeat twice.
 
Turn radius:
mark starting point.
turn one motor on, and measure length from start to end.
divide that by two. this is the radius.
repeat twice.
