Background on Hydrodynamics

This website contains an experiment designed to test hydrodynamics of wooden objects. Hydrodynamics is a branch of science that deals with the dynamics of objects in fluids. Like aerodynamics, hydrodynamics tests how easily objects will flow through the water in various directions. Their shape, size, and weight will control the speed and direction of the object. Below is a shark and a boat which are both designed to glide with great hydrodynamics through water.
